9:33 am - Now with 15% more sexy...
|
Whoamg, been forever since I've posted in here. Things have changed since the last post, I guess. I don't remember much of what I've done over the past few days, but that's probably because I didn't do much. I mowed my grandma's grass... fun. Two days ago I went to the movies with Justin, Hickman, Rber, Stephanie, Katie, and Susan. We saw Chronicles of Riddick, and by we, I mean the guys. About 15 minutes into the movie, the girls decided they didn't like it and left to go shopping at the mall. They came back an hour or so later, and they got us thongs. What the fuck? Well, they threw one at me, and I put it on Rber's head and didn't see it again all night. The movie kicked serious ass. Normally I'm stubborn and ignorant and dislike the "big time" actors and stuff, but damn, Vin Diesel was really good in the movie. Definately going to buy it when it comes out on DVD. After the movie, we stood outside, and some of us goofed off in the rain. Rber raced me to the handicap sign across the parking lot... we ended up in a giant mud puddle. The car ride home was awesome, too. I don't know why, but it was. Apparently I talked a lot, but hey, I was in a good mood. I went home and went to sleep, because Justin decided not to come over... bastard!
Yesterday I had planned to do nothing all day. I got done eating, it was 6:30.. and I got a message to go to Emily's house as soon as I could. Me, her, Hickman, and Stephanie were going to watch Shrek. I was a little annoyed at the spur of the moment desicision, but luckily I was allowed to go, so I did. I got there at about 7, everyone else was already there. I went in and immediately sat down. Why? Nothing else to do. We watched TV, and Andy and I made fun of the condition of Emily's brother's PS2 games. We were watching TV and stuff for a bit, just hanging out. Here's the big part: Emily called me over to her computer for a few minutes. It was a very interesting conversation, and well, the result of it made my day... hell, it made my week. We're back together now! :D :D :D Big smiles aside, we went back over to the TV and tried to start Shrek. The PS2 was being all screwy and such, so after some trying to get it to work, we gave up. We popped A Bug's Life into the VCR and sat down to watch it. (Yes, some people have a fascination with Pixar animation) Part way through the movie we found out Stephanie had to leave early, so we skipped through most of the movie just to watch the blooper things during the credits. We skipped RIGHT THROUGH THE ACTION. Oh well, it's just A Bug's Life. Nothing too big happened after that, except Emily getting on my screen name. I don't like when people do that, but I lived. Andy and I left at 10, and I came home, ate some food, sat around, and then went to bed at 1. I woke up this morning at 7 because someone let my stupid dog into my room. He jumped up onto my bed and pounced on my head. I almost through him across the room. I kicked him out, couldn't get back to sleep, so I did what I normally do... sit around. I've been sitting around since then, and I plan on doing the same for a while until I have to go golfing later today. I'm going to get my ass kicked by my dad, cousin, and uncle yet again... but whatever. The food afterwards is good. :D

12:17 pm - Don't read this
|
This will be perhaps my most pointless entry in my live journal so far. I shall relive my entire day yesterday:
First, I woke up, reluctantly. I told my dad I didn't want to go golfing. He got pissed off at me and made me clean my room (which is no easy feat, if you've seen it.) My mom got mad at me for spending all my time with friends and not with family. Well, maybe if my family did something fun every once in a while, that wouldn't be a problem. So I spent my day cleaning, then got on RO for the bi-weekly war thing. Shut up, I know I'm an addict. My dad came home and told me he really wished I was with him today, and that my uncle and cousin both wanted to tell me to "rest up" for next week. Then... I went to bed. And slept. I got just over 12 hours of sleep last night. I don't think I've ever slept that long. Now I am here...
Have no fear, though. Thanks to Arlber, I found two pointless things to put in that may liven this up.

9:48 am - Crashing and burning...
|
Yesterday was our school picnic. I had a really good time there. We went to Story Book Forest first, because it was open, and some of my friends are crazy. At one point, Emily got really sick. I felt bad, but she told us to just keep going, and she'd catch up later. It was a long time before she caught back up, but eventually, we did. Hickman, Rber, and I all bought Samurai Swords from the gift shop. The lady at the checkout that I went to got pretty confused about how to work a cash register. After about 5 minutes, she got the thing working, and we left. I opened the package, and mine was already broken. I didn't care, it was only $2. We proceeded to have sword fights all the way to Hootin' Holler. Andy and Stephanie left to take medicine to Emily, and the rest of us went to the Catipillar to wait for Justin and Susan. We found out that Justin would be a little late, so we rode the Catipillar over and over. Eventually, the handle of my sword broke off. I just threw it away. After we rode it a lot, some people got bored. Susan had showed up, and she and Rber went to ride the Catipillar together. The rest of the people went to ride the Wild Mouse. I stayed where we were to wait for Justin. Everyone met back up, and Justin and Shawn showed up. We went around riding rides, and I got a funnel cake. I ate around the outside of it, realized I wasn't as hungry as I thought, and gave it to Stephanie. We finally met up with Boyle and Emily at the Paratrooper. We headed over to Jumpin' Jungle, where we screwed around for a while. Rber and Justin got in trouble for running up the net climb thing... before they even started. The guy working there must've heard them say they were going to race. After that, we went to get something to eat. I got an Icee... note the fact that I hadn't eaten any "real" food yet. That played a big part in the fact that I started getting really dizzy and sick feeling. People went over to the Wild Mouse, but Andy, Steph, and I went to Confusion Hill. We also stopped at a game and won Jess a stuffed animal, because she wanted one all day. We met back up with everyone at the exit to the Wild Mouse. I don't really remember much of what happened after that... I just remember riding a bunch of rides and such, and then going on a walk with someone. Eventually we decided to leave early, and Stephanie invited us all over to her house for pizza. We went over there, stopped at Jioios on the way there, and ate some pizza. When we were done eating, we played a game that we kinda made up. It was a cross between Hide N Seek and Tag. It was a lot of fun, and rather tiring. At 10:30 we all got into the car and started dropping people off. I live about... 1 minute? away from Steph, but I made Mrs. Couch drop me off last, because I love car rides with my friends. We dropped Katie and Jess off, then Andy, Emily, and Arlber, then Boyle. Justin and Shawn got dropped off, then I got home last. By that time, it was 11:30. I was tired... but being the moron I am, I stayed up on my computer until around 1.
I woke up this morning at about 9:00, and it took me a good 20 minutes to just get out of bed. I am EXHAUSTED. This past week has been a lot of craziness and not much sleep. I just need a rest, or else I'm going to crash and burn. My dad is making me go golfing again with Pat, my uncle, and my dad again. I don't know how to tell him I don't want to, without him getting mad. I have to find a way, though... I'll seriously collapse if I have to play 18 holes today...
All in all, it's been a pretty good week. There are some things I would have liked to change, but if I look at the positive sides of things, it was actually a really good week. I hope the rest of my summer goes well, if not better. Freedom is beautiful...

12:32 am - Chin Up...
|
"Chin up, Chin up until it touches the moon, silent forsaken one"
My chin is up. I refuse to let things ruin my summer! I don't care how fucking hard it's getting, it's not happening. This is the summer I've been looking forward to... ever since last summer ended. There seemed to be something special about this summer. I will find it, I have to.
Anyway, tonight was Andy's party. It started off awesome, but some things understandably bothered me as time went on. Whatever, I'll deal with it on my own. Looking forward to playing some DDR at his house now, since Rber got him the game and Boyle got him a pad. We swam, and swam, and swam... and swam. Then they built a fire, but I decided I'd sit and stare at the stars for a while instead. It helps me relax, to work things out in my head. After a while, I decided it would be better if I just stopped thinking so deeply about things for a while, so I got out of the pool. Some fool stole my towel! So, I grabbed the closest one to where my stuff was. Sorry Susan, I determined it was your towel. Anyway, I dried off a little bit, and sat around the fire. The hyper girls there decided to try and get me hyper too... but prodding me with a hot metal pole. I decided it would be a good time to go chill with my friends on the trampoline. We sat around talking a little bit, and then the people in the pool finally decided to get out. After that, the cars showed up, and we left. That pretty much sums up all the events of tonight. It was a really good party, I just wasn't feeling like partying tonight.
Happy birthday Andy... don't fail your permit test. =P

10:28 pm - Hopes and Dreams
|
Well, Distorted Penguins were nothing short of amazing. Just thought I'd get that across NOW. Why? Because I CAN. B)
My day started out with my going crazy, I was so excited for the show. Some confusion ensued, Arlber wasn't allowed to go (I bet he asked his dad this morning...), Farah wouldn't answer, and Susan decided she didn't really feel like going. Oh well, their loss. Bitch and I walked down to Stephanie's house, where Boyle was already waiting. After sitting around, NOT BREAKING ANYTHING (wink, wink), we got into the SUV tank thing and drove to Emily's house. We got there at the same time as Hickman. We sat around in their living room, watching the French Open tennis thing. I spent the whole time trying to figure out why they were grunting, but hey, Mrs. Stewart seemed to be really into it. We pulled her away from her TV, and me, Hickman, Bitch, Boyle, Stephanie, and Emily all piled into Em's minivan thing. We were off! The trip was filled with PERIL, playing corners wasn't a very good idea. Boyle ended up breaking the cupholders off of the side...oh well, wasn't my fault. We ended up not knowing EXACTLY where White Valley Park was. We asked one guy for directions, but he ended up sending us to an apartment complex. We asked a lady there, and she went into a long talk about how she'd lived there for a long time, and had never heard of this "White Valley Park". We were about ready to pull away, when out of no where the lady said "OH WAIT, White Valley Park! I know where that is!" We couldn't help but laugh. It was hilarious... but either way, she was a nice lady, and she gave us the right directions. I kinda felt bad that everyone was laughing so hard at her... but I can't deny that it was somewhat funny. Well, we showed up at the place, and got our tickets. To my surprise, Mrs. Stewart turned around and left. I was under the impression that she would be staying, but hey, I'd be lying if I said I was dissappointed. We walked around a bit, and just kind of explored. The first band played around 2, and they were actually pretty good. People looked at Bitch and I funny because we liked them, but whatever. They were too busy with some other stuff to actually care. I'm not going to go into detail about things that happened, but I can say I was unsuspecting of a lot of things. Skunk Eleven was up next, it was a ska band. They were really good, and this time, people agreed. Joe kept complaining about how he was hungry, but was hesitant to buy food. Some of the people there were truly scary. The bands begain to sound bland, it was getting kind of boring. High School Football Heroes began to play, and since I had heard their music before, I was excited. No one else cared, though. Again, they were too busy with other things. I listened, and it made me feel good to hear them. I like their music. The Hentais played, and no offense to Dustin (or his cousin who was in the band)... they aren't so good. Maybe it's just me, but... Anyway, they got done, and Bum Ruckus played. Bitch didn't seem to like them that much, but I did. I'm always the one with the open mind. They finished up, and Baghead set up on stage. Up until that point, the bands were mostly ska or punk... Baghead was metal. I mean, truly metal. Loud, screaming, noise... in my mind it was beautiful. I was the only one who enjoyed it. Maybe I should go goth or something... whatever. I got made fun of for liking it, but that's fine. It made me happy, something the people with me weren't exactly doing. For fucks sake, they lit my shoes on fire! See, we had gone over to the merchandise tents to get a T-Shirt or CD or something. Bum Ruckus had lighters. Bitch started the trend, and eventually everyone had one. Now, you have to have seen my shoes before to understand... but I'll admit, they're in bad shape. I have new shoes, but these shoes... these are MY SHOES. I love them. <3 <3 <3 My genius friends decided it would be funny to LIGHT THE FUCKING SHOELACES ON FIRE. I still don't know why they did it, but I got to light theirs on fire too, whether they wanted me to or not... *evil grin*. I ended up screwing around with my lighter and burning the hair off of a section of my leg. Yes, I'm an idiot. It was enjoyable, though. Something to do. Anyway, other than my lighter, I picked up a High School Football Heroes shirt, and got 4 free pins for buying it. "Nothing works out in the end...." is written on the back. Sometimes I think that's true, but there's a brighter side to everything. Sometimes you just have to look harder to find it. After Baghead was finished, Given The Chance played another song or two. Distorted Penguins were finally up. They are truly amazing. They started and finished strong. They truly are my favorite band, ever. They really need to get signed soon... bitch said he didn't want them to, because it would be "selling out"... but if it means more Distorted Penguins music, then I'm all for it. They played 2 songs that aren't on any CD yet. Man, I can't wait until they are. They were really good. One dissappointment about the show was that one of their trumpet players is no longer with the band. He just happened to be my favorite member, too. Oh well, life goes on, and Distorted Penguins still kick major ass. They played 2 of my favorite songs, Cloud 9 and Hopes and Dreams. I was hoping they would play Lickety Split, but they didn't. At least I got to hear it live last year at the Battle of the Bands. We got some pictures, I'll have them up as soon as Boyle sends them to me. They finished up with Someone New, a song off of their demo CD. We went over and bought a bunch of their stuff, I got a new T-Shirt, my old one is too small now. We got free demo CDs for buying stuff. We left the Park in the Stewart minivan. By that point my spirits had risen, there was no way I could be anything but happy, having just heard Distorted Penguins. The three of us in the back seat, Boyle, Bitch, and I, made the singing trio. We knew the words to [almost] all of the songs that were being played. We stopped for ice cream, and the girl inside knew about the show. She asked us about some of the bands, and I ended up giving her my Distorted Penguins demo CD. I already have the 3 songs on it, anyway. For some reason I wasn't feeling hungry, not even for ice cream. We hit the road again, and dropped Andy off first. Next we went into my neighborhood, and bitch and I got out at my house. Now I sit here, writing this out... thinking about whether I should get food or not. I know I *SHOULD* be hungry, but I don't feel like I am. One Milky Way candy bar just isn't enough to last all day, is it? Oh well, I'll live... probably.
Tomorrow is Hickman's party, and then the school picnic the next day. Hickman and I agreed to let Stephanie and Emily do something to our hair that morning, you'll just have to wait and see.
I really hope you all have an amazing summer, I'm really looking forward to mine...

Distorted Penguins concert today! Holy shit, I'm excited! It's been over a year since I saw them live for the first time. This time I'm going with like... 10 of my best friends, it's going to be freaking *AWESOME*. Only bad thing is there will be like... 2 adults there. =/ Oh well, ignore them, get in trouble later, not a problem. I'm listening to one of their CDs right now, waiting until I go down to Steph's house, who's taking me to Em's house, who's taking us to the concert. Today is going to be amazing.
I hope you guys all have an amazing day, too...

9:21 pm - A little bit of thinking goes a long way...
|
I did a lot of thinking today. There were a few things that happened lately that I didn't feel were good right now. I did my best to make the changes I felt were right, I'm sorry if it affected anyone in a way they didn't want it to. I realized today that I need some time to just... be freeeee B)
This summer is still going to kick major ass. Short entry, I know, but hey... my journal, I DO WHAT I WANT. :)
Enjoy your summers guys and gals... I know I will.

10:30 am - Awesome.
|
Well, it's come to my attention that my journal is looking awfully similar to Andy's. Oh well, this is *MY* journal so I'll write what *I* want to write!
Anyway, on to the good stuff. I went over to Stephanie's house with Andy, Jess, and Katie, because Steph was giving us all a ride to Cole's. The girls had just gotten done doing their hair, when they decided it would be funny to attack Andy and I with their hair gel. Needless to say, my hair smelled fruity all night. It's not the only thing that smelled horrible, though. We went to Cole's party, and after driving like 100 bazillion miles into the woods in the middle of NO WHERE, we got to his house. He came out to meet us in his driveway, and led us into his basement. Dear GOD the smell! I couldn't breath! Someone went overboard on the fabreeze... his chairs and carpet were damp because they were so soaked in fabreeze.. I almost gagged at the smell. I think, after being there a while, I got unintentionally high off of the smell...
Anyway, we played some Halo, but that game is just getting boring... it's been out for what, 2 years now? Give it a rest, let it die...
Stephanie and Andy went outside, and I figured I'd follow, because I needed the fresh air... Jess, Katie, and even Farah came along. Speaking of Farah, whoever told him I hate him, used the wrong word. At one point I "strongly disliked" him, but he's cool now. I don't mind making more friends, especially if it's getting rid of someone who hated me. Well anyway, we stood around outside, under a big umbrella, because it started to rain. Farah got a little busy with the umbrella, but hey, whatever tickles his pickle. When we finally decided to go back in, the door was locked. Bastards! We begged, we pleaded, but those lazy slobs wouldn't unglue their eyes from the Halo TVs to unlock the freaking door... eventually, after some visual persuasion from Andy, Steph, and Farah, they let us in. The party got fun around 10:30, when Cole's basement because a wrestling ring. Being the calm, cool cat that I am, I didn't really participate... at first. Eventually, I just couldn't resist. One noteable part of it was when we were swinging Jess back and forth, and Andy used her as a human jump rope. If Andy had missed, Jess would have probably been broken in half. At some point, though, I got to meet Mrs. Farah. Andy was not kidding, at ALL, that she is the coolest mom ever. She even offered to take us on a road trip to their beach house! I mean, COME ON, how AMAZING is that!? Well, anyway, Farah was outta there, and the party was still getting really fun. We're all having a blast, when suddenly... Stephanie's dad showed up. He came 20 minutes earlier than we had expected. Steph, Andy, Katie, Jess, and I reluctantly got into their tank of an SUV and left.
I was the last to get dropped off, and Stephanie made me let her borrow my first copy of Weekly World News. She's supposed to drop it off sometime today, DAMN that magazine is hilarious. After they left, I sat up talking to some people. I had a really nice conversation with one of them, it brightened my day even further. Looking forward to today, to see what else will happen.
In Andy's journal, he mentioned the possible formation of a new clique. I think he's right. Even if people from the old one come back, it'll be amazing. I'm really looking forward to this summer now, it's going to kick ass.
Tomorrow is the Distorted Penguins concert, I've been looking forward to it for a long time now. In case you didn't know, Distorted Penguins is my favorite band, EVER. I've listened to them for a few years now, and finally got to introduce my friends to their music last year at the battle of the bands in Latrobe. Most of them like their music as well, and the few who don't are going just to hang around with us. I expect to have an awesome time tomorrow, it's going to kick ass.

8:31 am - Another day, another dollar
|
Well, Arrigonie did show up yesterday, and he brought Shawn Short with him. We played, of course, Dance Dance Revolution. That game kicks ASS. I had to leave them for a while, because I got a phone call. I won't go into that.
After they left, I sat around and did nothing. My parents got mad at me for not eating dinner, but meh, they can deal with it. I got a phone call from my cousin later in the evening, he wanted to hang out because no one was home but him at his house. He drove over, and we played... Dance Dance Revolution. While we played, though, we thought about something to do. We had a car, but no money. I went over to my dad's office, caught him off guard, and managed to get 10 bucks out of him. Awesome. We hit the road, heading for our favorite store of all time... Shop N Save. We got there, we browsed for a while, and eventually I picked up a Lunchables Pizza thing, haha, and we both got flavored water. The water sucked. Why is it that every drink that's on sale down there SUCKS? Eh... Well anyway, we got out to the register, and we both chipped in and got another copy of Weekly World News. Totally, totally rad. If you've never seen it, it's that news magazine that has all the outrageously bogus stories. This one, for example, talks about how someone stole the Pope's hat and is trying to impersonate him. It also mentions a 45 pound woman who thinks she is still fat, and wants to hit 15 pounds by July 4th. Well, you get the picture... so we headed back up to my house. I got yet another phone call at home, but I'm not going into detail about it. The news I heard... well, I'm pretty sure I should be happy about it... but at the same time I need to remain cautious. It'll all play out in time.
I fell asleep fast, I was a tired guy, having played DDR for hours again yesterday. Tonight is Cole's party, looking forward to it. Pretty sure there's going to be some multi-Xbox Halo going on, I might be compelled to haul over my DDR stuff. We'll see.

10:01 am - Boarding the Bandwagon...
|
Well, I decided I would make a Live Journal. Arlber and Hickman both have one, as you can see in my little friends list thinger, and since I used to have a Xanga, I'd decide I'd start fresh here. My Xanga hasn't been updated since Thanksgiving, haha...
I've been fairly busy lately, and it's not stopping anytime soon. Partying for a week is amazing. B) It started Monday night, going through Tuesday morning. Arrigonie, Hickman, Boyle, and Arlber came over for another one of our eat-hot-pockets-and-play-video-games nights. Through the course of the night, Bitch and his bitch (Joe Ferlin and Ali Hurley) showed up because the party they were at sucked. I don't blame them for wanting to come hang out with some cool cats like us. B) My cousin also stopped in during the night, but he didn't really do much. Bitch took his bitch home around 9:30, and Arrigonie left around 11. My cousin was outta there at like 10:30, because he only has his junior liscense, so he had to be in by 11. After they all left, and bitch came back, we took a trek down to the shopping center. We were hungry kids, and for some reason, we just didn't feel like making Hot Pockets. I don't know what was wrong with us that night! So, I woke my dad up at midnight, and in his dazed stupor convinced him that it was okay for us to walk down to Shop N Save at midnight. We bought 5 gallons of various flavored "Drink". They were 79 cents each, so we thought it would be a good deal. Wrong. They tasted like melted snow cones. If I was lost in a desert, dehydrated, and on my last few breaths of life... I *MIGHT* be convinced to buy one again... at 50% off. I still have my "Fruit Punch Drink", and I don't think it's going to go anywhere, except maybe down the drain. I made everyone else take theirs with them. So, we got back to my house with 5 gallons of melted snow cowns, 2 boxes of cookies, and some various candy. We would have had one of those 99 cent rubber ball things that grocery stores sell, but I uh... went a little crazy and punted it onto the overhang above Dollar General. Whoopppsss.... Things kinda died down after that. Rber and Hickman were still going nuts on DDR, Boyle migrated over to his laptop, and at one point I spent an hour or so standing outside. I had a lot on my mind, I needed to peace and quiet to just... think. It was very, very relaxing. We finally turned the Xbox off around 6 AM, after it had been on for around 12 hours (Yes, that is 1/2 of a day). Everyone fell asleep but me, so I went upstairs and... got on my computer. Everyone left around 10:30 that morning, and at about 11, I crashed on my bed. I hadn't slept all night. I woke up later around 3. Anyway, after I woke up, I sat around a bit, still feeling light headed and generally exhausted. I got a call from Hickman. He, Stephanie, Jess Meidel, and Katie Tronetti were going to Gino's, and Andy wanted me to come along. I had nothing better to do, so they swung by and picked me up. I tried calling Boyle, but god only knows what that kid was up to. We stopped at Stephanie's house, and then decided that it would be more fun to hang out there and just order a pizza. We screwed around on the trampoline until I started feeling really queezy, and then played volleyball. Hickman and I were owning the three girls, and two of them were on the Junior Olympic volleyball team. Funny, eh? We went inside to eat our pizza, but I wasn't very hungry. Lately I've lost my appetite, and because of it, I've also lost 4 pounds. I think part of the weight thing came with playing DDR so much, haha... after everyone was done eating, we went down to the shopping center to rent a movie. Jess snapped and made a break for the pet store, and the girls had to literally drag her out of there. Andy and I pretended not to know them, and went over to Shop N Save. We got 5 more of those play balls, one for each of us. We also picked up a news magazine, called "Weekly World News". It's the funniest piece of reading material I have ever seen. If you ever need a good laugh, I recommend picking up a copy. We rented House on Haunted Hill, and then the girls stopped to get milkshakes. We bought 3, but since Andy and I are so damn sexy, the waitress gave us each a free one. Don't ask me why, haha... but hey, free milkshakes! We went back to Steph's house, but I had to leave early, since I was going golfing the next day. I said my goodbyes, but forgot my play ball. I wonder if I'll ever get it back? :(
The next day I went golfing with my cousin, dad, and uncle. They are all good at the game... me? Well, that's another story. We only played the front 9 because it started to pour down rain. They all shot in the low 40's... my score... well, it was under 70. I still had a great time, haha... we got something to eat after, and then came home.
This morning I had to go get a soccer physical, which wasn't fun... the turn your head and cough thing gets pretty awful. Since my cousin plays soccer too, he gave me a ride home, and we played some DDR again this morning. After he left, I came up here, and felt compelled to start this thing. And... this is where it ends. If I have time between working on my dad's computers, partying, the concert, and the school picnic, I'll update this. I'll be sure to get one up in the next week, but man, I'm busy. Arrigonie is coming up today to play DDR, tomorrow night till Saturday morning I'll be at Cole's party, Sunday is the concert from 2-8, Monday is Hickman's birthday party, Tuesday is the school picnic, and I'll be golfing again on Wednesday. Oh well, this summer can still be amazing!
Enjoy yourselves, and live life to the fullest.
